#4 Key Color From the Streets

The color I chose to document from the streets is a dark army-inspired green.  This look has been commonly seen throughout the fall and winter season.  It seems that it will continue to appear come spring time as well.  I was plesantly surprised to see this trend of a color was found on not only women but men too! From jackets, to rain boots, to hats an accessories this color was sweeping New York on this overcast windy drizzly day.  I set out looking for the green thinking it would be difficult and yet I found that maybe, just maybe, this new military green may be replacing New York's favorite color...black...nah!

#3 Fashion Trend from the Streets of NYC

Riding boots have been a long time trend specifically shown between Fall 2010-Winter 2011.  It seems that the riding boot coincides with the "horseback rider" trend shown with chap-inspired leggings, elbow padded blazers, and classic collared button front blouses.  A very Ralph Lauren look has hit the streets of New York City in a casual everyday look for those who are either fashion forward with a preppier preference.

Below are some pictures/links from http://www.fashionising.com/ one of my favorite fashion blogs just to further prove the fall/winter fashion trend...

#2 Key Item for Spring 2012

Exotic florals are a Spring 2012 trend according to many of the trend forecasting websites.  I have shown here many ways a floral print can be used within an outfit.  Whether it be an entire outfit or just a simple accessory a floral design can spice up an outfit fit for a spring in style, with Romanticism and eclectic design.

Statement jewlery has revolutionized fashion.  Coco Chanel's idea of costume jewlery has recently brought the fashion world to a new place.  Being able to create such statement high fashion through accessories is shown in this picture.

Shown on http://www.fashionising.com/blogs/?pg=3 as a great example of vintage style.  So classy.

Sleek black always works.  The sheer arms add a slight sexiness keeping the look classy.

So I basically can do this all day...but that's all for now
